Why freelancers use InvoiceEasy
Sending a bill should not take longer than the work itself. Fill in your details, add your items, pick your currency, and download a clean PDF. There is no account to create and no email to confirm.
Everything happens inside your browser. The details you type are not sent to or stored on our servers, so your client names and amounts stay with you.
How to create an invoice
- Add your details. Enter your name, your email, and the name of the client you are billing.
- Set the invoice info. Add an invoice number and date, then choose your currency and tax rate if you charge tax.
- List your items. Add each service or product with a description, quantity, and price. Use the Add Item button for more lines. The total is calculated for you.
- Generate and download. Click Generate Invoice to preview it, then click Download PDF and send it to your client.
When should you send an invoice?
Send an invoice as soon as the work is delivered or a milestone is complete. The sooner the client has it, the sooner the payment clock starts. For long projects, many freelancers invoice in stages instead of waiting until the very end.
Always include a clear invoice number, the date, what the client is paying for, and when payment is due. Use the Notes box to add your payment terms or bank details.
